The Health Care sector was the top performer, rising approximately 0.5%, while the Materials sector lagged, declining about 0.75%. Away From Stocks: Treasury securities came under pressure, with the two-year yield jumping 11 basis points to 3.66% following less dovish-than-usual commentary from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil held above $68 per barrel, gold continued its pullback to $2,635 per ounce, and Bitcoin similarly retrenched to $63,600. The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) settled just below 17.
